There's a moment everyone who's hit rock bottom knows, even if they've never said it out loud: the moment you realize there's no walking back. Not to who you were before. Not to the life you had. That line, once you're standing on the wrong side of it, doesn't disappear.
I wrote From Rock Bottom, Forward for that exact moment.
I'm not writing from theory. I spent more than fifteen years in active addiction — years that cost me my marriage, my career, and very nearly my life. I know what it feels like when someone tells you "it'll be okay" and you don't believe them, and you shouldn't have to pretend you do. This book doesn't tell you that either.
What it offers instead is something more honest: a proven way forward, built from what actually rebuilt my life — not all at once, but one deliberate choice at a time. This isn't a book about getting back to where you were. It's about learning to move forward from exactly where you are now, even when "forward" feels impossible to imagine.
If your whole life just fell apart, I want you to know: rebuilding is possible. Not the way it was. Something new, built honestly, one day at a time.
