I didn't write this book as the addiction expert looking in from the outside. I wrote it as the addict — the person my own family once loved and couldn't reach, couldn't fix, and couldn't save no matter how hard they tried. For more than fifteen years, I was the one on the other side of this book. Now, twenty-six years sober, I wanted to write for the people who loved someone like me.

If you love someone struggling with addiction, you already know a kind of exhaustion that's hard to explain to...

Not every hard season has a name like "addiction" or "recovery." Sometimes it's just fear that won't loosen its grip. Anxiety that shows up at 3am for no clear reason. A discouragement so heavy you can't remember the last time you felt steady. I wrote this book for those seasons too — the ones that don't fit neatly into a category, but are just as real.

I didn't write this from a place of having it all figured out. Recovery taught me that fear and anxiety don't disappear just because you get...

The first ninety days of recovery are unlike anything else. They're not the hardest days because you're weak — they're the hardest because everything in you is adjusting at once: your body, your routines, your sense of who you even are without the addiction running the show. I know, because I lived through them myself, and I wrote this book to walk through those exact ninety days with you.

I'm not writing as a clinician or a counselor observing from the outside. I spent more than fifteen years...

There's a moment everyone who's hit rock bottom knows, even if they've never said it out loud: the moment you realize there's no walking back. Not to who you were before. Not to the life you had. That line, once you're standing on the wrong side of it, doesn't disappear.

I wrote From Rock Bottom, Forward for that exact moment.

I'm not writing from theory. I spent more than fifteen years in active addiction — years that cost me my marriage, my career, and very nearly my life. I know what it...

I wrote “The Endless Bucket” because I learned the hard way that looking financially successful is not the same as being financially free. For years, I chased money, properties, business growth, and the appearance of success. I built multiple income streams, owned real estate, drove the luxury car, and lived the life people point to as “financial independence.” But behind the scenes, I was stressed, overwhelmed, and exhausted.

I wrote this book because I want people to understand that ...

If you’ve ever rewritten a message ten times to make sure it didn’t sound wrong, or driven back home just to check a door you already knew was locked, or replayed a conversation so many times that you no longer trust your own memory, then this book was written for you.

My book “Stop Overthinking” was born from fifty-plus years of living inside a mind that never wanted to quiet down. As I say in the opening pages, I’m not a doctor. I don’t have a couch, a notepad, or a soothing voice. What I do...

Recovery is hard — not just during the dramatic moments, but during the quiet, everyday hours when you’re simply trying to make it through one more sober day. Some days you’re fighting cravings. Some days you’re carrying shame. Some days you’re rebuilding trust or starting over from scratch. I wrote Powerful Christian Prayers for Addiction Recovery and Freedom for all of those days.

I don’t write as a pastor, counselor, or addiction expert. I write as someone who lived more than fifteen years...
